I'm thinking that this will be a book about the general life of these two characters (the narrator and Gatsby). From what I've heard from the audio recording, this won't really be a book that is driven through plot but instead likely through lessons that the characters learn and probably some sort of cyclical style. I personally look forward to this kind of book although it will likely take some time for me to read through it considering that that's how I am with non plot driven stories.

After reading the link I am now thinking that this book will be very unique because it says there is not really a plot which could be very interesting. My guess is it is about two friends who cause trouble for themselves many times. I am looking forward to reading this book because I have heard that it makes you think outside of the box and it shows some history of the 1920s.

I believe that this text is a very famous, powerful, and inspirational text. I believe that this book is going to be a very good book. Though the only way this book is going to go well, is if one pays very close attention to it. If one really doesn't pay too much attention, it is said that this book can be kind of boring. I think that this book is going to have a high class tone to it and there are certain things that you're going to need to catch, in order to ride along with it.

I think the book is going to seem bland, but with a natural writing style. I hear a narrator who can't be trusted, but trying to communicate that he is average, but the others he surrounds himself with were trust fund babies and old money. The friend and Nick are entirely self destructive, surrounded by liquor and sex. Disaster is foretold.

I think that this book will be very exciting to read because in the 1920's is a very unique time and formality wasn't seen as often. With Fitzgerald at the author it should be very fun and adventurous since he always was. I think that this book won't be clear as to what the ending might be and that it won't be necessary logic or anything but fate and the heart. It'll be interesting reading a book from this perspective.

The Great Gatsby lossley based on the exstravagant life of fitzgareld. The novel is a strong book that is not affraid to shows its colors they discribe it as riskay which it really was and it shows the life of someone who really dose not have a care in the world other than for the one he loves.

I think that this book is going to be very different than any other book of this time because it wasn't as popular until a while down the road. The interview also mentioned that this book is very risky in terms of drinking or sexual orientation. The interview also stated that this book doesn't have a hard, outlined plot but does have plenty of good lessons and the writing style is one that many people try and mimic.

I think the book is good and it depends on the perspective of the reader and how they think about it. Some might like it and some might not. And since she said that the book changed her perspective because of the uses of its message that it's admirable to try to beat your own fate.

This book shows us how someone can mold their life the way they want to and that life builds up to a fantastic drama unto which we experience. The interview shows that this novel expresses what living in that era was like. They also say there are elements of redefining your own fate, which is still a major topic in books today. We are always questioning ourselves how we can influence our future. I think the characters in this book ask that a little more often.

I'm thinking that the great gatsby is going to be an exciting, up and down movie. There seem like there are going to be many problems, but when you're rich that isn't what you want. This book is really making me think about why certain moments happen. It also really shows how the people of the 1920s wanted to live, and act.

I'm thinking that this box will be different from all the other 20th century literature texts and the story will be fantastic. A strong book that will show many emotions and ideas in such a unique time such as the 20's

This book seems to represent a lot of things that were taking place in F. Scott Fitzgerald's life. These include an extravagant lifestyle that is engulfed in alcoholism and adultery. It is odd to me that this book did not sell as well as he had assumed it would in the time of its initial publication. I would think that it would be very popular due to its risky content. I'm curious as to if Fitzgerald identifies with the narrator of this novel.

After reading the link and listening to the little podcast, it sounds like it doesn't really have a plot. They say that it has bootlegging, crime, and sexuality in the book, so it is all over the spectrum. I think this book is going to be about the two characters, the narrator and Gatsby. I think the two characters are going to be causing a lot of trouble but they are going to be learning lessons as they go through the times they do. I think this book is going to be interesting because there is so much going on with the plot that I think it will keep you on your feet.

After listening to the interview link, I think that this book will be interesting but only if I can pay attention to every detail and event that happens. It may not have the most creative plot but the style will create a intellectual tone that makes it more challenging to read. I am excited to read it because I know that it is a well known book and I hope that I will like it.

Listening to the interview about, "The Great Gatsby" I believe the book is going to have many key points to the story that you have to figure out for yourself. In the first chapter Nick says that because of his father he doesn't make any judgement; however, we soon figure out that that isn't true, which was discussed during the interview. Then during dinner we figure out that Tom has a mistress since she called him during dinner and Jordan tells Nick what the discussion between Tom and Daisy is about.

As I am showed videos and podcast of the Great Gatsby, I become more interested and motivated for reading the book. Im open to reading about the 1920's so I can compare to present time. From what I heard in the podcast, it is a little slow, but it is a classic every American should be open to read

I'm thinking that this book is very famous and popular for a reason. I know that many criticize it for being boring but I am excited to read deeply and discover the true meaning behind this book. I think it will be interesting to see what this 1920s classic has to offer and see the authors interpretation of life back then.
