Scott Fitzgerald to me was a brilliant man, he used his gift early on when he didn't fit in he used writing as an escape and surrounded people with his gift and could flourish from it. I think at first writing was something that he loved but then it came a job for him to earn money. He then got into drinking and it went down hill I think. His diary proved more of him going downhill. Overall, it changed over time from doing something he loved to do and then life hit hard and things changed.

F. Scott Fitzgerald attended a lot of private schools. He wrote poems stories and plays to win acceptance in his school and with his classmates. His writing was like magic. People just followed the script. He was very passionate about writing which helped him in his future and helped him get his writings so popular.

After watching the A&E Fitzgerald video I noticed that Fitzgeralds passion for writing was sparked by his struggles. All through his childhood he was not good at most tasks, but he excelled at writing poetry. His gift for writing earned him social acceptance. This social acceptance fueled his passion for writing. He started writing new styles such as lyrics for plays. I also observed that his passion started from a gift. This makes me wonder if being naturally talented at something makes one more passionate about that topic. His life also fueled his passion. His breakup with his girlfriend and thoughts about love created new ideas for him to write about. Another struggle that Fitzgerald wrote about was War. His struggles with love, war, and social acceptance created passion for fitzgerald's writing.

Fitzgerald uses socialism in his writing and his personal experiences to bring his writings to life and his writings connect to people for example when he said "poor boys don't marry rich girls". The girl of his "dreams", broke off an engagement, because he had no money. Which inspired him to continue writing so his novel can become big so he can gain enough money to get back the "love of his life". He gained much fame from each of his novels, which exposed the socialism of their modern day teenager.

Fitzgerald was an amazing writer that had wrote stories and poems easily where his other classmates found it difficult. Fitzgerald wanted fame quite badly and used his writing gift to get the attention of his classmates and others around him. He even used his gift to get the girl of his dreams. Fitzgerald was an amazing writer and artist but more than anything he wanted fame and was incredibly ambitious.

After watching the video about back ground information, I got a pretty good sense of how much of a passion Scott had for writing. One thing that jumped out to me about his passion for writing was that he would spend 16 hour writing chunks and skip studying. writing was very involved in his life and almost was the main reason for most of his decisions and outcomes. Especially in this time it was interesting to see that he has such an interest.

I noticed that Scott Fitzgerald had always wanted to fit in and to do so he would write things which other people liked. He had found a way to impress people and win social acceptance. In order to be accepted Fitzgerald would focus on writing poems instead of studying in college. Fitzgerald's passion for writing seems to stem from becoming socially accepted, when Fitzgerald was in the war he often dreamed on becoming a war hero. Also Fitzgerald's passion for writing seemed to be sparked by his struggles, he wrote about his struggles and seemed to gain inspiration from them.

Fitzgerald had his own plan with his gift. He had built it up in his head that if he could write, he could control everything. He would always cast himself as the leading role so then he could be the star. So he got everything he had wanted. He had always wanted the love and the glory of everything. He had really just wanted to be in the light and have the most amazing story. What he had wanted were the most beautiful girl and the most amazing story. When he was denied part of that because of social status he never really got over it.

F. Scott Fitzgerald did enjoy writing but he mainly just wanted to be famous and known. Writing was always something he was good at and how he made a lot of friends when he was younger. He used his writing ability to obtain the fame he was looking for which allowed him to win back Zelda the girl he had always wanted. Fitzgerald just wanted to be known and have a good time. He was very dedicated to being famous as well, that along with his writing ability are what made him such a success.

After watching the video of Fitzgerald’s life, it is clear that Fitzgerald had a passion for writing at a young age. However, it seemed that Fitzgerald was always dreaming of himself becoming famous in some way, then was very disappointed and put down when his dreams wouldn’t become true. As for his passion for writing, Fitzgerald had many high hopes, which also lead to his alcohol addiction. Overall, he seemed like a very ambitious writer, whose dreams and romanticizing tendencies led both to his success and downfall.

Although he was a very talented writer, he was inspire by all the wrong reasons. Instead of writing for the love of it, he would write to try and become famous, and get all the perks that came along with that. If he wrote, because he loved it, and had fun with it; The fame, money, and all the other things he wanted would of came faster and even more efficient. Although he did go through many challenges, it could of been expressed better if he had the right mindset.

Fitzgerald was a dreamer. He always wanted something bigger than himself in life and he always wanted to exceed expectations of society. He loved writing and a passion grew for it when he realised it could make him popular and unique among his peers and classmates. He liked that he had a talent that most other people didn't have and he used it to his advantage.

Fitzgerald's life has been through a lot of ups and down. His fight for love has been destroyed by social statues and he has always wanted a shot at being famous. He had a deep crave for wanting to be recognized. He flunked out of college, didn't even get a chance to be a war hero, and he finally gets a shot at being famous by writing books. But his fame is short lived because of his death at age 40.

Fitzgerald seemed to want the best of everything, best schools, best jobs, and the best writings. He was much better than all of his classmates. He tried to win acceptance from his classmates by excelling at writing. Fitzgerald was very ambitious and seemed fame through his writing.

Throughout Fitzgerald’s life, it looks like there are a lot of ups and downs, but his love and passion for writing remained constant. It said that he was a dreamer and it certainly looked like he was brave and tried new and scary or hard things, but he often spiralled if he failed at these things. I think the ups and downs in his life definitely will affect his writing stories, but doesn’t affect his writing in general because of his huge passion for it.

Fitzgerald came from nothing and wanted to not be a failure like his father, he wanted to achieve glory and a sense of self achievement. Fitzgerald relied on his writing abilities when he failed like the football team, his lack of presence in the war, and being denied because “poor boys don’t date rich girls”. Fitzgerald’s Gatsby book is very much a self reflection of his own life to a certain extent.

After watching the video on F. Scott Fitzgerald, I have noticed a few things about his character and his passion for writing. His passion for writing was sparked by his deep desire for fame and glory. He wanted it so bad that he jumped from different things to try and get himself fame. From a football player to a war hero they all ended in failure. But he was always striving for something better than what he had and what he came from. He was always a good writer but he was also a hard worker. That is what got him what he wanted.

Growing up not wealthy while surrounding himself with the fortunate, became a critically acclaimed writer and won over his peers with his ability. Almost immediate into his adulthood, Fitzgerald found is social "in". This brought his passion to an all time high and created many works. His ability/fame won over his doubtful ex-fiance to rejoin in marriage. His passion seemed to be what got him through life over all things and the alcoholism, Fitzgerald suffered from.

I noticed that he tried fit in. He found ways to impress people and found ways to be known. He wanted to be successful in life and he did many things to do that but he never really achieved it so he always turned back to writing. He found his passion in writing at a very young age and he seemed to catch peoples attention with his writings. I also noticed that all he did was mostly write and never really focused on anything else. He put his mind on writing whatever came into his mind. As much as he tried any other thing, he didn't find himself successful in what he tried. He did his best in wanting to be known. His passion for his writing helped him get popular.

Scott Fitzgerald wanted to be a rich and famous writer. He did have a passion for writing at a young age. His life from the past was not easy. His dreams did not come true. For example, he wanted to be a football player, but it didn't turn out that way because he was small and was cut on the first day of practice. His money changed Zelda's mind of marrying and being with him. At first she she didn't want to continue the relationship. He had ups and downs, but that didn’t stop him from writing.

After watching the video I learned that Scott Fitzgerald had a huge passion for writing. He had many other dreams, but writing was always there from the beginning. Fame was such a priority in his life he tried to do many things before writing. He was a football player than a war hero, but none of that worked. He never gave up on being famous because he knew he wanted to be famous. This showed a sense of determination in him. He had so much motivation to become famous that he would do anything. He had a lot of misfortune in his life. He never stopped his dream. He wanted to be rich and famous and nothing was going to stop him from it. He became a writer and his goal was complete after a lot of hard work and failure. He did it.

After watching this video, Fitzgerald had a very strong passion for writing, this passion began when he was younger. At the beginning of his life, he was a black sheep in a field of white sheep, he was the poor kid that sat in a class full of rich kids. He craved to be noticed through his writing because that would be the only way for him to be noticed. Fitzgerald prefered to write plays rather than study for school because he only wanted to be successful in writing. He wanted others to read about his life, so he told stories about his life. His passion led to success and he was determined to get to the point of success in life no matter what the circumstances were.

From our brief look at his history, Scott Fitzgerald strikes me as dreamer caught up in the tantalizing material fantasy of the roaring 20’s. He used his incredible literary talents to repeatedly wow his peers and, combined with his own experiences of struggling for success, eventually crafted elaborate stories, beloved throughout the ages. But, beneath his successes, I found Fitzgerald’s tenacity to rise again and again after failures to be truly admirable. He was without a doubt, wholly committed to achieving greatness.

After viewing the second installment within the A&E Fitzgerald video, I noticed that Fitzgerald experienced many struggles in his life as a writer. These struggles created inspiration for his writing. Later he came up with the Great Gatsby, which was not based off of struggles. His idea for The Great Gatsby came from his passion for writing. Fitzgerald had a passion for writing from a young age. Fitzgerald wrote about his struggles and would try to fit in. The Great Gatsby was unique and did not do this. I think the reason the Great Gatsby was successful was because it was unique and was different from his previous style of writing. The Great Gatsby was about a lot of similar aspects that he experienced in his life. His friends were represented by the characters.

Scott Fitzgerald seemed to a have a very inserting life with a lot of private schooling, passion for writing, and an overall difficult life. One thing that really stood out to me about him and his writing styling was his urge to fit in and be popular. Fitzgerald always was looking for the next party or what he could do to make himself standout. This lifestyle reflects through his writing style and his personality. Overall Scott Fitzgerald had a very interesting life with both struggles and privileges all of these experiences shaped him and his writing style.

Fitzgerald grew a love for writing at a very young age, however his desire for attention and popularity often got in the way of his passion. He faced a few struggles throughout his early life with partying, but he was able to translate this to his writing and incorporate his habits into his work, this is what made him one of the most influential authors of all time. His ability to translate real life experiences to words on a page was next level, and ultimately created his legacy.

Fitzgerald shows us that from a very young age, he had a love and passion for writing, but was almost defiant with society and he showed that through partying and living a carefree lifestyle. Through the struggles that he faced, he expressed his emotions through writing. Something that seemed very interesting to me was his constant fear of feeling like he is popular or well known. He had this constant desire to be important to those around him and his emotions relied on whether or not he was popular. I think that he also wrote because he never wanted to share his true feelings to the world so he wrote them down.

Fitzgerald was born a talented writer. He started his passion at a young age. He was a talented and popular student and often went to parties. This got in the way of his passion and he expressed his emotions in writing. He wrote everything down so he wouldn't have to say them, and that says a lot about who he is as a writer.

Fitzgerald obviously grew up with a great passion. Writing, which he seemed to be really good at. But things like the urge for popularity and attention had corrupted his mind and sort of got caught up in his own dream. After his struggles in life, he chose to write about them. Even after reading The Great Gatsby, I can see how Fitzgerald sort of took his own life and put it into the book, with his crazy partying and fantasizing. Overall Fitzgerald was still a good writer and created one of the best novels out there

Fitzgerald's love for writing was obvious staring in his youth. However he was drawn away from writing by the temptations of popularity and women. Luckily he soon learned a way to use writing to increase his social standard. He was also able to use his real life struggles to inspire better writing.
