He was so passionate about writing he would write more than he would study. He would write so much that he soon dropped out of school. He would often try new things but in the end he stayed with what he did best. He would write about the golden girls that he saw in his lifetime. He would put them into his stories to always have a memory about the girls that made him melt inside.

Fitzgerald knew from a young age that he was good at writing and that drew him to writing. Fitzgerald always used his talent to his advantage to gain popularity and glory. Fitzgerald always had associated writing with positive things and used it to get through his struggles. Often times writing was a distractor that prevented him from succeeding in school.

After watching the video about Scott, I think that he was so attached to writing that the the only other thing that could distract him was girls. You can tell he really liked writing, when he joined a club in college for writing, as well as writing in school. The video mentioned he failed out of Princeton, do you think this was because he actually wasn't trying in school, or because he was so busy with writing that he just didn't have enough time to work on his school work?

Fitzgerald regards writing in a different sense than most modern writers. Authors today view writing as their hobby and something they enjoy to do, while Fitzgerald viewed it as a tool to success. He enjoyed writing, but he set his sights higher than being a popular author, and instead he wanted to be a popular ideal American who everyone wanted to be. Because of his mindset towards his gift, I think it is predictable he won't live up to his own standards but still fall into greatness in the eyes of others.

I think his story is sad because he wanted to become a different man than his father and almost ended up in an even more tragic situation. It makes me sad that he had so much ambition for the things he wanted to do, but ended up squandering them when he would get distracted. The drinking problem also apparently started at a young age, but I think that the mentality that he may have possessed probably helped him to create the things that he did.

I notice how his life kinda followed his own quotes. "Give me a hero, I will write you a tragedy" and as the video says, it is what happened to his life. He always wanted to be a writer, since he was a little boy. His father was a inspiration for him not to fail. He found he could use his gift to kinda write his own life and have his friends and people he wanted to be friends with him and wrote a script for his life. He would always use his writing ability to impress people and gain social standard with his peers. He was not able to marry the girl of his dreams because her father did not want her to marry a poor boy. After he flunked out of Princeton he wanted to go to war to try to get that glory he sought after in college.

What I noticed about his passion for writing is that much of it relates to his own experience in life. Much of it is about defeat and downfall like he experienced within his life. His passion came because it was the only thing he would succeed in. He would try so many things thinking that he would succeed but end up failing.

Writing came easy to him, and he enjoyed it. He wrote about his life but twisted it a little so it became fiction. He felt as a failure, but his writing was not a failure. He had a passion for writing long novels. Even though he loved to write, he flunked out of college and didn’t continue with his education. He always casted himself as the lead role, which I feel is very narcissistic of him. He wrote things to make people obey him and what he did. He wanted the spotlight all of the time. He seems like a weird guy that I honestly don’t want to spend my time around.

After observing the video, I noticed that Fitzgerald had a strong passion for writing after he discovered his true potential as a writer. Writing for him helped him become accepted into a rich world. A world full of persigious people who he believed that he didn't fit with, but soon found a reason to fit in with them. When it came to writing, he was a prodigy, but that soon fell when he started to get into college. He showed early signs of a drinking problem and he soon enough dropped out of college without any intent to write. He soon found other things he could be known for, which I believe led him to a habit of trying to be accepted into something he is completely new at which I felt he was addicted to doing.

I noticed that in the beginning he was very passionate about his writing but he wasn't sure if he should pursue it because he wandered of to other things like the football team and his drinking problem .Towards the end he started to write less and less because of his alcohol addiction.I also noticed how his writing were widely knows around his area so his writing were truly great he just couldn't see that for himself.

The story of the great American Dreamer. He was too concentrated in the successes of his life. He identified as an outsider at a young age. He started to write poems and plays for the school paper. Fitzgerald was accepted in Princeton. He joined the Triangle Club and he wrote for the theater in Princeton. At a young age, he was rejected by a rich girl. She appears in several of Fitzgerald's books. Fitzgerald met Zelda when he was about to go to World War 1. Zelda was wild. Writing was more of an escape from reality to him. When he was segregated in elementary school, all he did was write to try to become popular among his friends.

Fitzgerald understood his aptitude for writing and used that skill to further himself in a less humble way than usual. He was very self confident and this confidence was what fueled his passion for writing. And because of his father's failure he was very set on not failing at writing so it lead to a very strong determination and passion for writing.

Fitzgerald knew from a young age that he was good at writing. The he used his talent to gain popularity and glory and everything. He got distracted though and this changed his work ethic and often was out drinking and partying. He eventually was failing so many classes that he dropped out. He still used his gift but only for money.

Scott Fitzgerald seemed like he loved writing in his early years because he made friends from his talents and gained acceptance. As he got older though, I feel he lost meaning in his writings. It seemed like he was writing to become the big man of his school. The art of writing, i believe, is so that you can write for yourself and give yourself something you didn't have before.

In the shorte video, a lot of interesting details about Fitzgerald's life where shared. His writing was told to wow his peers and the adults around him and he used this many times to his advantage. He would often write to gain respect from people and further his social status. An example of this is him writing for plays. Fitzgerald was also described in the video as brave, and well educated but not very motivated as we saw when he dropped out of college.

Fitzgerald wasn't the best at most things but he found success in writing. He tried all these other different extra curricular activities but writing was Fitzgerald's key into fitting in society. It led him to popularity and to become one of the best play writers in his college.

Fitzgerald was a fame hungry writer. He was very much obsessed with the idea of being successful but wasn't willing to put the work for it. He wrote about his life experiences and how he saw the era he was living in. He had many problems and was a sad man. He was suffering with life and was quick to give up.

Fitzgerald strikes me as a very intelligent guy that doesn't apply himself except for when he is writing because he flunked out of prenstion not because he is dumb but rather because he wasn't trying because he is passionate about writing and writing only.

He believed writing was the only way for him to truly fit in. He really dedicated his life to his writing and he enjoyed when others followed his plays. He was surprised and proud when he saw one of his stories in the schools news.

I think that Fitzgerald found peace in his writing. I think the fact that people weren't into the book at first disappointed him because he was a seemingly ambitious man. He wrote lots of plays that featured him, and when his friends gave him excited attention he liked it, and in his writing he was trying to please others and emulate the positive attention he received while also just enjoying writing.

Fitzgerald perseus the world as a place For his name to be known which I respect before his life became so tragic. That tragedy, he experienced didn't lose my respect at all. It just increased my curiosity in his mindset because of how knowledgeable he was about his own talent. His sudden understanding in his ability to write, and using that ability later in the future makes me to believe that he is a smart man who understands what it means to be special because where he was schooled into. Everyone besides, he had a place in that school, which made this special talent a gateway for him to fit in. Then in the later years, he soon encountered himself with a drinking habit, which led him to become an addict. His life is exactly like the beauty of his writing. Something so defined because of experience, but only those experiences that he lived could only be true to him and his readers.

After watching the video about Fitzgerald, I believe that he took a lot of pride in his writing. He used is writing to gain respect, almost "show off" to his peers, tell stories, or do many other things with his writing to help and support who he is. The video also talked about him being very brave in the military, but also a slacker in school when things don't have to do with writing.

He seemed to right for reasons different then others. Writing for him was more of a way to make money and show off then it was for him to tell stories. His life was all about what people thought about him and not what he actually was. He thought very highly of himself.

A lot of his writing comes from a love of writing and the tragedy of life. He seems to always right about the rise of the downfall. His writing didn't even seem it was for his fans, mostly just for him and the love he had for the words. Although, he did walk the Earth hoping for his name to be known, and it was, he had a great beginning and a tragic future. A life no one wishes to end up, he ended up in the worst positions and out takes. The one thing that kept him going, was his writing, and that's a powerful thing.
