After watching the second part of the video, Fitzgerald was still very committed to his writing. He wrote about the times that people lived through in the time that he lived. It was a lost generation but life was easy. Fitzgerald and his wife eventually had a baby but they still enjoyed to party. Fitzgerald wanted to be famous and recognized for his work. Later Fitzgerald wrote The Great Gatsby which reflected the times they lived in as time went on. This book became a big hit and eventually became a movie. This was the book that really made him famous and how he became more widely recognized around the world.

Some comments that I could make about Fitzgerald life as a write is that, much of his writing reflected what his life was life in a reality. Many people thought it reflected what his life was actually like. He moved to Europe and I think life changed for him. He began to settle down and write his biggest writing yet. I think overall his life effected his writing because he had a roller coaster of times in his life, it was chaotic and definitely did have some effect on his writing style.

After watching the second part to the information about Fitzgerald, I learned more more giving me a better background to his most famous book, The Great Gatsby. Learning that he had started a family and they considered that their full time job was shocking to see that he actually did not spend all the time writing. once he did continue to write more, his wife and his relationship started to get shaky which could have been more of a reason to writing more.

Wanting to be a writer during this era was very difficult, because the goal of this time was to just make money to support yourself and or your family. Once Fitzgerald sent one of this books to the press it blew up!! People were very interested in Fitzgeralds novels, because it showed the real social side to teenagers during this era and what young wealthy people would do. Once Fitzgeralds books blew up and became a huge hit, he used his "new" fame to get a wife he would now be able to support, along with making a living with writing.

Scott Fitzgerald's masterpiece "The Great Gatsby" was the pinnacle of Fitzgerald's writing career and was the piece of literature that put Scott Fitzgerald on the map and was what won over his ex-fiance to rejoin in marriage. Scott Fitzgerald's life was pretty chaotic and unstable, with high ups and low downs. All of these factors influenced Scott's work and all contributed to the roarin' jazz age tale of "The Great Gatsby".

Scott had just wanted to write novels and he had just wanted to live the life of luxury. To have both was very difficult and wasn't really possible. They had lived everywhere, not staying anywhere for more than a year. When he really did get serious about writing Zelda had an affair that caused him a lot of anguish.

After watching the second part of the film, I think Fitzgerald’s writing often reflected what was going on in his real life. This Side of Paradise represents the upturn and the Beautiful and Damned was rumored to represent his and his wife’s own downfall, and all the alcohol throughout his novels. I think it was also interesting to find how hard he worked on his books, to make the classic detail that he is known for and that it didn’t come naturally.

The way that which Fitzgerald and his wife partied often is reflective in the way Fitzgerald wrote about the Jazz age, in a very stylistic, wild way. His writings often paralleled his life like this, both the high points in his life and the low points. Although Fitzgerald’s stories involved some chaos which settled down eventually, Fitzgerald’s life was different and was often very busy and very chaotic.

After watching the second installment if the video, I notice how much Fitzgerald cares about writing. He spends so much time trying to perfect his writing. He seems to dedicate his entire life just to writing. He mentioned that they never live in the same spot for more than a year. Moving around that much would be crazy. I could not even imagine. Fitzgerald gave everything to writing and that shows through his text.

I think that Fitzgerald used his writing to pour out the emotion that he never spoke about to others. He lived a very shallow life of partying and drinking. When the parties and the drinking ended, I think that he was forced to sit with his emotion and he used his novels to write them down, I think that his relationship with his wife is also an example of the shallow lifestyle that he lived. I think that he never wanted to experience the sadness that he knew would come if he stopped living the lifestyle. I think he would have had to accept the outcome of his life.

After seeing the second part of the documentary about Scott F. Fitzgerald's life, I noticed many new things about him as a writer and a person. It seemed like his books and stories seemed to reflect what was happening in his life. For example, he wrote a book about a couple that was drunks and growing apart at the same time that he and Zelda were experiencing. I noticed that his drinking was becoming a problem that he could not get a hold of. But despite all that he still sat down and wrote The Great Gatsby, which took lots of work and determination. This shows that Scott F. Fitzgerald was a driven man but got easily distracted.

After watching the video, I noticed that he wasn't as confident in his writings than he thought. Meaning he didn't think it was good enough, but actually it was amazing writing. Also he liked to move houses a lot he didn't stay in one place for a long time. Through his writing I think he figured out how strong of a writer he is, especially because he helped make a multi million dollar movie by simply writing a book.

Fitzgerald and his wife Zelda were constantly on the move and never stayed in the same place for long. His life even after his daughter was born became increasingly more luxurious and he wrote many short stories that he actually didn't like writing and more so saw it as like a high school job. He really enjoyed writing novels and then eventually started to work on The Great Gatsby but didn't have much time to work on it. Fitzgerald eventually settled down and began his main work on The Great Gatsby and rushed to finish it, with many bumps in the road. But with Fitzgerald being the person wanting fame and attention he told everyone it would be his greatest work and the bar was set pretty high.

After watching the video about Fitzgerald and his intriguing life, I can see a new side of this author that correlates directly to the novel. Fitzgerald seemed to live an active life with lots of partying and friends. There move to Europe seemed to calm Fitzgerald's partying ways down and allow him to focus on his novel, The Great Gatsby. Two interesting facts I learned while watching this video were how he never lived in the same location for more than a year and that his wife had an affair while they were married. Fitzgerald seemed to have a very interesting and thrilling life. I already feel as if several parallels can be drawn from both Fitzgerald's life and The Great Gatsby and I feel as the story progresses more will be seen.

After watching the second part of the Fitzgerald video I noticed that Fitzgerald was still very committed to his writing. In order to continue the lavish lifestyle Fitzgerald wrote short stories in high end magazines. Soon enough Fitzgerald and his wife moved to Europe in order to allow Fitzgerald to work on his newest and best book which he would title The Great Gatsby. Since Fitzgerald was drafting The Great Gatsby for long periods of time his wife would have an affair with a man she met on the beach, this in turn destroyed Fitzgerald as and he never really forgave her.

Scott seemed to be bored with life, needing alcohol and parties to keep him happy. They never lived in the same place for more than a year, always needing a change of new scenery. To make quick money, Scott wrote short stories in which he hated. But he had to keep up the extravagant life style with his wife, who shortly grew bored with Scott himself. It seemed interesting how while in the process of writing "The Great Gatsby", Scott already seemed to know that this novel was going to be big for him and his career. Scott almost lived a career of doing what he wants to because outside of his career there were nothing but issues.

After watching the second part to the video, I now know more about his life and the stories he wrote. His experiences affected the way he wrote and the things he wrote about. After everything he went through in life, he was better able to put those in words while making interesting fiction stories. I learned a lot about the Great Gatsby from this video and I found out that this book was the main reason he became so well known.

Fitzgerald and his wife Zelda begin to live a very extravagant life. He lives very similar to how the Buchanans live in his novel "The Great Gatsby". He continues to make money by writing short stories but he feels as though it isn't enough. I find by watching this video that Fitzgerald is constantly looking for something new and for something that will make him feel like he is a glamorous figure. Fitzgerald and Zelda are both very fun and outgoing and enjoy the social scene, but as glamorous as their life seems on the outside, there are some darker elements in his personal life.

Fitzgerald started to have some issues with his wife, Zelda. These problems translated into his writing in a way, he was very critical of himself and his work, he spent hours revising his words and making sure he could portray his story exactly how he wants to.

After watching the second part of this video, I noticed that he still decided to write even though the Fitzgeralds moved around a lot. He just managed to write short stories for a while until they settled down. I also noticed that he didn't really spend much time writing when he had started a family. It was like it was going in between going good and bad.

After watching the video I think that Fitzgerald wrote about his own life in the book, The Great Gatsby. His life has many up and downs that are shown in the book itself. The life in the book is extravagant and was not realistic. His wife was a party person and loved the spotlight of the party. This is why he wrote about the Jazz Age in time. He wrote about the times he experienced so he knew what exactly the times were like and he wanted to show them to all of us truly. This is the book that made him famous. Everyone knows of the Great Gatsby still in our age. His book interrupted the life people in America lived in.

After watching the video, I got to see some experiences that he had to deal with. When he married his wife Zelda, she had an affair with someone else and ever since, he will not forgive her and was impacted by the situation. He does continues to write and make money. I think the ups and downs have impacted his writing and him as a person.

Although Fitzgerald faced many obstacles through his life, which the movie portrayed, he was able to keep writing. Even though it could of been to make money, which he was doing a lot of, he was able to put a lot of challenges and focus on his writing. His wife would put a lot of stress on him, but they were also living a very luxurious life. The cool thing with his stories, is they all are relevant to his life. He puts in a lot of first hand experiences into his writing, which would makes it more personal.

Through all of Fitzgeralds childhood struggles, he was able to cope with writing. He was living a lavish life with fancy things, but his wife often stressed him out and got in his way.She also had cheated on him, and he was impacted deeply. He is talented at writing his thoughts and emotions down whatever the mood is. The writing is Deep and personal.

Scott strived to be something great. I think its his failures in life that kept him going, he even used those failures and past experiences to help pursue his career and keep ideas flowing. It was almost his coping mechanism with life. I think its almost inspiring. Looking from an outsiders perspective. Scott wanted to be all that, which he just wasn't. Which helps me realize you can't be everything in this world. But you can try

Fitzgerald did not have an easy life and he was unable to get the women he loved because of his social class. This sparked a fire under him not only to use these struggles for his writing but to make many books in order to improve his social class. I think writing is a very good outlet for his ideas and he clearly made some amazing works. Fitzgerald then went on to write The Great Gatsby which was the pinnacle of his writing and allowed him to win back the love of his life.
