After viewing second installment within the A&E Fitzgerald video,
what do notice about Fitzgerald and his life as a writer? Other

He had a life that was full of problems like anyone else, but he used his reality to create beautiful stories. He left this world as someone who didn't think he'd made it but today, he lives on through his work. He kept writing and he kept making his art although he had hardships and trials.
Scott used his life to write in his books. He soon would lose interest and no one knew his name. Soon after that his reputation grew and grew and now his books sell over millions a year. He is really high up on the list in this day and age. Everyone says he stands out and has a different interest in his writing and gets a lot of interest from woman writers. He left a legacy on people's hearts and he knew that he was good and that his books were great. Him knowing this really helped him pursue farther and farther in his work despite all the tragedies he went through.
Fitzgerald and his novels didn't have an extreme legacy during his life but after he died, he has a strong legacy that carries on today. Fitzgerald may be considered the greatest American writer of all time and the top selling American writer of all time. Fitzgerald wanted the fame and attention that he received, he just never lived to see it.
Zelda dying in a fire was just the perfect cap to the end of the couple, being as their entire relationship had gone through many trials and tragedies. Even through his hard life, Fitzgerald is known now not by his mistakes but by his marvelous writing, his romantic view on life seems to appeal to many and i'm sure to himself. He was a perfect vision of the American dream.
He was never famous while he was alive, but when he died he started to become popular. He still sells lots of books and his literature still makes an impact on modern society. He never got the good luck that he earned. His good luck, with publicity, came after he died. His wife died in a fire and that is proof that she never got good luck either. His legacy lasts forever and impacts us today.
Zelda died in a fire in a mental hospital at age 48. She is now buried next to her husband F Scott Fitzgerald. 1950s is when they discovered his books and he stared to become one of the best american writers ever. He stands out more because he writes about different things like love. Their is a life size statue of him. He was truly immobilized after his death, and he never thought that he was going to be come so famous. Some people though that he knew that he was going to become big because he believed so much in him self.
The final segment of the Fitzgerald video talks about fitzgerald after death. Zelda died in a fire and fitzgerald died of a massive heart attack. Fitzgerald's popularity grew more after death and was deemed one of the best writers of his generation. He still sells hundreds of thousands of books each year. “Though Fitzgerald did not live to see himself immortalized, somewhere in his heart he knew his works would never die.”
His life was scrambled and he was an alcoholic to the point where died an early tragic death due to a heart attack but today he is more famous that he ever though he would be and his books are some of the best selling american made books today, he even had a life size statue of him made in his honor.
Zelda died in a fire after Fitzgerald died. He left a note that would leave a sense of his style in his writing. He was soon forgotten to history until people saw that he was a important person who did some for literature. Soon people started using hes work in schools and people just celebrating him. His life was praised after his death.
Fitzgerald used his life experiences to influence his books. His novels didn't have an any sort of legacy during his life but after he died he became a ledgend. To this day he is considered to be one of the greatest american writers of all time. But all the fame and fortune he dreamed about he didnt get to see and experience because he died before then.
Fitzgerald became one of America's "biggest dreamers". After he passed, he became a big inspiration to the society. When he was till alive, all he wanted to be was famous and successful. Some people believe that he knew he left a lasting legacy before he died.
Fitzgerald didn't have the easiest/simplest life int eh world. Zelda died at 48 in the hospital during a fire. After this is when he started to get famous for is writing and people started to know his name and who is is. Today stands a life size statue of him.
Zelda died in a fire when she was trapped in the asylum. Fitzgerald had heroic qualities that kept him going and being able to write. Analyzing Gatsby's character made me realize that Fitzgerald was portrayed as Gatsby's character as well. We can how everyone started to speculate about Gatsby but didn't really take their time to know him. Everyone assumed Fitzgerald was just a drunkard writer with his wife in the asylum but they didn't really ask him how he felt or how he was coping with that.

Zelda died in a fire which led to Fitzgerald being in a hard mental place. He poured his life into writing even though at this point people didn't think as highly of him anymore. He worked on and released his book The Great Gatsby but the book did not do as well as he had hoped as the US was in the middle of the great depression and wasn't into reading glamorous stories about the rich.
During life, Fitzgerald was never famous as a writer. After his death, he became a household name and his book is both read for pleasure and in thousands of classrooms across America. Fitzgerald's work was ahead of its time, analyzing aspects of American culture that had not been tackled in writing before. The problems his characters faced were largely based off his own life, but still unique to themselves.
Fitzgerald was never a huge famous writer as he was alive, although he tried very hard to become famous. But even without the fame, he never gave up because most of his writing was brought up by interest in him not for the people around him. Today, though, his books and stories are published and used for pleasure and education purposes. He eventually became famous but it is sad that he isn't alive to see his success grow.
These pictures made me feel a variety of emotions. I felt sadness for the photos of Americans that went through the Great Depression. I felt happiness when the the faces of Americans were laughing and smiling because of the broadway show and that's what I think America is all about. Different emotions is what makes American, America. You can't just feel one emotion all the time and expect America to be great.
