My thoughts about Fitzgerald have not changed. His life was still expressed through his writing and he found new interests every few months or so and would write about them. "He was obsessed with rich people and the idea of it all". He was a suck up to the rich but then that all crashed. His mental state went down the drain once his wife started to lose control of herself. He didn't know what to do and everything started to look down for him which affected his writing.

hearing about fitzgerald's fixation with rich people must have had a big influence on his writing. they say in the video that he is somewhat a "suck up" to the rich. knowing that in his book the Great Gatsby, many people are rich and living their bests lives partying every night now makes sense as to this fixation he had. another shocking thing that might have influenced his writing at this time was that his wife was crazy and he spent most of his time trying to help her out. His writing style seems to have been a reflection from his true life.

After watching the video F. Scot Fitzgerald really enjoyed writing. It's what he knew he wanted to do with his life. During his life he struggled with one of hs books for 9 years. He wrote a lot about wealth and the rich. The book the Great Gatsby has a lot of relation to the rich and the thought of partying every night. During his life he felt like a hopeless reck and thought he could never get out of the situation he got himself in.

He had a lot going on while he was trying to write. Not only was his wife schizophrenic, where he would try to cure her diagnosis by seeing the best docs around, he was also stuck on his fourth book, but also is losing money. His book that he released did not sell, as the depression just hit, and he was stuck. The failure of his novel was a major set back. He was trying to take care of his wife, but was also an alcoholic which did not help anything. Through all this pain he was going through, he would use it as motivation to keep writing, and writing about himself. On his 40 birthday, the newspaper wrote a terrible story on him. Just when it was the worst time of his life, he got another job opportunity that would take him to Hollywood, and give him a second chance.

After watching the third part in the video, it was evident that Fitzgerald's life was going downhill. His wife had mental problems and that affected Fitzgerald because he spent his life searching for a cure for his wife. His writing career started to deteriorate as time went on. Although he wrote a story called "A Tender Night" which later became a movie, the book did not really sell because The Great Depression hit so everyone wanted to focus on themselves. He became an alcoholic because he started to become depressed because his life had been at a low point. Fitzgerald admitted to the public that his life was not very good, he was struggling. After a while he was offered a screenwriting job which helped him with his motivation in life.

After seeing the 3rd installment of the Fitzgerald documentary I have gathered more information about him as a writer and a person. He made friends with the other famous writer Ernest Hemingway, but that turned into a rivalry due to the large personalities that they had. Then the stock market crashed, and Zelda fell into insanity or some say schizophrenia. He then wrote a book about a therapist and an insane patient falling in love. That is another example of him drawing from his own life. He was also a huge drunk, more than ever before. But yet he still wrote books that people enjoyed and drew from his life experiences to make great pieces of work. And he did not give up.

Fitzgerald seemed to focus a lot more on the upper class in some of his later writing. He was fascinated with their partying and outlandish habits, I think this was largely shown in his classic text "The Great Gatsby". Around this time of his life, his wife began to lose her mind and he started to go downhill himself. However Fitz was presented with some hollywood opportunities that completely changed his life for the better. The way he writes in his later novels always mirrored what he was going through.

After stock markets crashed Fitzgerald went through his worst nightmare, His wife slowly lost her mind which inspired him to write another amazing piece from personal experience about a psychiatrist who married one of his patients even though she wasn't mentally well. Each of Fitzgeralds writing pieces connect to small aspects of his life. Fitzgeralds life would be represented as a roller coaster he had many many down moments but then would come up again then back down again.

The Great Depression really affected his wife. She was losing her mind because of the market crash. These were the worst times of their life. She tried to drive her and her husband over a cliff by taking the wheel, just like Daisy does in the book. She was never going to be the same again. Scott has been struggling writing his book during this time. He needed to restore his bank account and reputation. His book in the 1960s did not sell because no one had enough money. He started drinking and became an alcoholic. He would drink for a long time and would have to be taken to the hospital. All of the books have some connection to him. He relates his book to himself so they are easier to write about. On his 40th birthday, there was a newspaper article saying he was pathetic and a failure at the age of 40. He got an offer and moved to Hollywood and came to be a screenwriter. No screen credit for Fitzgerald. When he attended parties he drank club soda and sat in the corner. A journalist saw him and they went on a dad. Fitzgerald did not have an easy life, he cheated on his wife while dating someone else, his wife was crazy, and people thought he was a failure when he wasn't. Life as a writer and during this time is very hard even though it seems great they had lots of challenges.

After watching part three of this video, I can see this shift in Fitzgerald life. Him and his wife entered an awful phase of there life after there partying stage. From this his wife became extremely irrational and was diagnosed as a schizophrenia. This changed the course of Fitzgerald life drastically. In the midst of his struggle to write a novel he was having to take care of his unstable life. Similar to before, he used his real life experience to form his novel. The rejection by the people of this novel caused Fitzgerald to slip into depression and increase alcohol prevalence in his life. This low part of Fitzgerald life taught him several valuable life lessons and shaped his new life. He created a new life in Hollywood and tried his best to live the life he wanted while his image had been destroyed. Overall, this portion of the video elaborates on the hardships of Fitzgerald life and how they shaped him.

Throughout his life, Fitzgerald was always a writer. When he was young he used it to gain friends as a poor kid in a rich private school. In college, he used it to become well known at his school and be popular. After dropping out he used it to become famous, make a lot of money, and to win over his dream girl. He also used his life to influence what he writes about which worked out very well for him.

After watching the third installment of the Fitzgerald Observation A&E video, I noticed how rough Zelda's health issues were for Fitzgerald. He had to deal with complications most people will never go through. He had to watch her struggle, with no idea of how to help. Hw was dealing with writing books, and still trying to take care of Zelda as best as possible. As he turned to an alcoholic that complicated is life even more than it was. He was able to continue writing books. This was still a big challenge for him. He was able to overcome his alcoholism and he was able to prosper through his writing. Zelda was still insane and Scott was having an affair on her.

Fitzgerald would envy Hemingway just as Hemingway envied him and his writing style. The next couple of events were exceedingly tragic for Fitzgerald, Zelda was losing her mind and eventually tried to kill Fitzgerald and herself by driving them over a cliff. Fitzgerald then after his next book didn't sell well he fell into a depression and became a heavy drinker. When arriving in Hollywood he wrote movie plays but he didn't surprisingly get a screen credit. Although Fitzgerald was married started an affair, but made it clear that he would not divorce Zelda.

After viewing the third portion of the Fitzgerald video I noticed that his life continued to go down hill. Fitzgerald said that as time went on he watched his wife continue to deteriorate. He watched her continuously go insane. During this time Fitzgerald was working on writing another novel. When this novel eventually came out no one bought it as it was the beginning of the Great Depression so no one wanted to think about the book when there were other issues. Since his novel didn't sell Fitzgerald's alcohol issue continued to get worse. When Fitzgerald thought he was at rock bottom, he got an offer to move to Hollywood to become a screenwriter. Getting offered this job helped increase his motivation for life.

Fitzgeralds life is very much reflected in "The Great Gatsby" where he writes from experience. Scott Fitgerald's wife, Zelda, became schizophrenic and to save his family financially and emotionally he released "Tender Is The Night" he'd been working on for 9 years, but as it was the Great Depression. He starts drinking and becomes an alcoholic. To get out of writing books he starts in the film industry. This is all relfected in "The Great Gatsby".

After viewing the third installment within the A&E Fitzgerald video, I noticed that Fitzgerald envied other writers and would try and use other peoples ideas and promote himself more than them. Fitzgerald competed with other writers but eventually decided to work together with them. I also noticed that Fitzgerald envied rich people. I also noticed that Fitzgerlad used his life as a guide for his writing. He wrote about his wife being sent to a mental hospital. Fitzgeralds writing started to fail because it focused on the wealthy and parties. People wanted to hear relatable stories and most people were not wealthy, so people began to get bored with his writing. Fitzgerald's writing style changed as societies preferences changed. A pale woman with green eyes named Shelia looks like the character Daisy in his novel The Great Gatsby. He also had an affair, this is similar to how the character tom in The Great Gatsby had an affair with daisy.

Fitzgerald seems to almost write stories that he can relate to personally. His latest installment of his writing did not sell well because of the depression. He was losing most of his money and losing a lot of things in his personal life. The media started to be criticized by media and he hit rock bottom. He then went to Hollywood to become a screen writer. He tried to curve his alcoholism, trying to better himself. He had an affair with a woman he had met and had no plans of divorcing Zelda. He got dropped from the company after "Three Comrades".

The great depression really caused the his wife to lose her mind. His wife needed to be taken care of and his fourth book took his 9 years to right. He wrote in reflection of his life, and his last book was a failure. Since the great depression his success ended and he started being a hardcore alcoholic. After he hit rock bottom he started working as a screenwriter, he kept revising his work and never got a screen mention in his work. He had an affair with another woman while his wife was not getting better. He had felt betrayed because someone changed his work.

He had the entire world. Complete with some fantastic rivals that messed up his life, losing his wife to her being crazy and lost everything. He lost everything in the sense that he couldn't seem to go forward in his life. He didn't have any ability to progress in his life because he didn't know how to. With the depression, he couldn't sell the books. When he was a film writer, he had his lines changed and was very annoyed. There was nothing he wanted to do. He had an affair but had no intention of divorcing his wife.

Fitzgerald quickly became old news. Zelda was hospitalised and it seemed that his identity was striped away from him. He felt that life was not worth living because Zelda was no longer what she used to be. He went to Hollywood to write movies and found that he wad not being promoted the way he wanted to be. It seems that his motivation was love in his life. He found passion in many things allowing him to write. When Zelda was hospitalised, he seemed to have lost passion because he lost his love.

After watching the third part of the video on Fitzgerald video, I really see how hard and devoted Fitzgerald was to his writing and his family, and how hard his life was trying to support both of his passions. Even though FItzgerald was a younger writer, his work was outdated when the Great Depression hit, and caused him to spiral. He couldn’t support his mentally ill wife or daughter, and it caused him to become a serious alcoholic. When he got a second chance being a screenwriter in Hollywood, things were looking up for him and his family. After his creative liberty was taken away in Hollywood, and his wife was taken away from mental illness, his career and his life sadly ended. I think his writing often mirrors his real life and I think it’s sad his personal life had to have the sad ups and downs some of his books had.

As Fitzgerald's wife, Zelda, became schizophrenic, he wrote a story that related to madness similar to Zelda’s case. He later became an increasing alcoholic, and his condition worsened as the condition of the country -- as it fell into the Great Depression-- worsened as well. Even as the Great Depression ends, Fitzgerald continues to struggle in finding a job and making money, as well as his relationship with Zelda. It seemed that Fitzgerald had reached his high point in life, and was now falling into his low point.

The Great Depression proved to be quite the challenging time for Fitzgerald. With everything seemingly crumbling down around him, Fitzgerald turned to even heavier alcoholism and had an affair while his wife ailed in an attempt to cope with his immense and constantly growing stress. The only form of stability in his life was his writing. As with his previous works, Fitzgerald’s stories were inspired by some of his personal experiences. This could have been a form of reflection or relief for Fitzgerald, allowing him to indirectly pour his heart out and be judged only as a writer, not as a fellow human being. Unfortunately, this style finally failed him when his fourth novel -a story involving many aspects of his current struggles- failed to sell.

After watching the third video about Fitzgerald, I realized just how hard his life truly was. Not only was he struggling with his writing career, but he was also struggling with his seemingly crazy wife. Fitzgerald became a heavier alcoholic due to these issues which were partially brought upon him because of the Great Depression. Even after the Great Depression ended, he struggled greatly in life. His career and life ended after he had reached his peak.

After watching this film, I noticed that he had a lot going on while writting, which means he fully couldn't focus on writting. He had a hard life, a crazy partner, that build up led to an Sad depression. and very sadly, his life ended when he was at the highest stage in his writting career.

Fitzgerald really had it for the worst. Living in a time of economic depression seems pretty tough by itself. But to also add the reality of alcoholism which consumed his life and a sad marriage. Its still inspiring how he pushed himself to keep writing and to follow his dreams. He really made a name for himself after he was gone. Which is something any man would strive for.

Fitzgerald's life soon started going downhill. His wife was suffering from severe mental issues and he spent a lot trying to care for her. It was also the beginning of the great depression and it was impossible to continue the lavish lifestyle he enjoyed. He eventually fell victim so alcoholism and died at a young age.
