I think that the american dream is freedom. It seems that everyone comes to America for this reason but what truly is the american dream is to be successful in a free country. To be successful in America would be to have a job that pays for your needs and to have a family. This is important to me because when I think of America I think of happy children and loving parents that are doing well enough to provide for themselves and their kids. This is the American dream that people want and come to America to have.
My ideal American Dream is one in which I have a successful career that I enjoy and am passionate about. In current times, many people measure success based on how much money they make or how big their house is, and not necessarily on how happy they are. This was exhibited in the American Dream movie trailer by a man who was originally a lawyer but became an artist when he realized that he was happier when he created art. The ideal American Dream is different for everyone, and mine is one in which I am happy.
To me, the American Dream is to have all your needs and wants while still being happy and successful. How can anyone live the American dream if he or she is not happy? My ideal American dream would be me traveling the world with unlimited money and with my family. I would do whatever I want and have whatever I want. This is my American Dream.
The American Dream is an idea, which indicates that all people can be successful through hard work, and that people can have the capability to live cheerful, profitable lives. The American Dream symbolizes the opportunity of living superior lives than your parents did, and a longing among parents for their children to lead better lives. My american dream would be to live a life I am proud of achieving a life in which I worked hard to achieve a balanced life.
Not only is the American Dream success economically, but also success socially. Everyone wants to be rich in their lifetime, which is why part of the American Dream is economic, but not all people realize that being successful socially is just as important, if not more important than being wealthy. People want to fit in, to be free from prejudices. Many people try and escape from a society once experienced, to a place of utopian qualities like the United States. The American Dream is a simple economic dream, but a complex social dream.
My ideal American Dream is happiness the ability to provide for yourself or others. Happiness will lead you to chose the choices that you are given merely on happiness. It is important to choose a career that make you happy, and one that you enjoy going to every day. Stability of providing the necessities of life and every now and then the wants. The American Dream would not include stressing over not having enough money and making your life more simple.
My American Dream is to be successful and make money. I think the American Dream can be obtained through hard work are dedication. It is not easy to get to one's American Dream because it does not seem possible. Many people have lived their American Dream and they did not just sit back and let the dream come to them. They pursued the dream and with hard work made it to the American Dream. I included money in my American Dream because almost everything in the world one needs money to accomplish. With a surplus of money one can live how they want whenever. Money is also obtained through hard work and dedication and that what makes the American Dream so special. People can have their own dreams and pursue their own interests.
My ideal American Dream is enjoying life. I want to be able to look back on my life and not have any regrets. I don't care that much if I'm successful or have a lot of money because that shouldn't be what I'm remembered for. My American Dream is to be remembered for doing something of importance. I want to live life to the fullest and be able to look back on my life. I want to be an example to others through the way I live my life and cause others to want to do the same thing.
My ideal American dream is one where I can be successful and live life freely. Many people believe success is all about how much money you have and how many electronic you own. I believe success and achieving the ideal American Dream is difficult, but setting goal could help me achieve a well payed job, which could lead to a family.
The ideal American dream is to have power, fame, money, and all the "latest and greatest". Everyone wants financial success and with it comes power and fame. College is not just an option for many high schoolers, it is a must in order to secure a good job.
My ideal American Dream is based around the concept of opportunity. As a citizen of the United States, I want to have the opportunity to create a future for myself. I want a good education, a good job, and a good lifestyle. America allows individuals to attain goals such as these. I know my future is in my own hands and that it is up to me to shape it. By being given opportunities, I am able to decide my future and direct my life.
In my opinion the American Dream is freedom. To be free is something that is unique about America and is not something other countries have. The ability to live life in a way that makes you happy is the American Dream in my opinion. Unfortunately, people in other countries don't have the same opprotunities as we do. Doing things that make you happy and that follow the laws in America is the dream of a lifetime. This is a dream that everyone would love to have.
In my opinion, the American dream is Happiness. Americans goal in life is to ultimatly be happy, succsesfull, rich, etc.. I tend to agree with this. I want to be succsefull when im older, have enough money to pay for what my family needs and wants, to pay for what i need and want and more. Ever american citizen wished and prays for happiness and hopes that one day they will have complete and total succsess. I also wish and pray for happiness. Therefor, this is my American dream.

I think the American dream is to be happy. Many people have a perception that it's to be rich and make a name for yourself. But if you make the dream about the money you are always chasing a goal that is almost never reachable. The promise of more money is always right in front of you but also always just out of reach. To me if the american dream is just about money and success then its more of a night mare. to me it is to find happiness.
the American dream for me is to have the chance to make enogh money to suport me and my family. another part of my American dream would be to have the chance to openly practice my religion without discrimination. the final part of the American dream for me is to be happy. being happy is the key to personal success. if your happy arnt you already successful in your own mind.
My ideal American Dream is happiness, not just for myself but for the family and friends that I have. I do not think the American Dream should be all about money, material things, or even success but to be content with what you have and to be surrounded by people you love.
I think that the American Dream is living a sucessful and happy life. I dont mean being rich, that is not what life is all about. I mean finding a career that I love to do. I dont want to dread going to work every morning, i want to wake up and look forward to working. Being happy is also something that I thik is very important. No one wants to be unhappy their whole life, its like the question would you rather be rich or be hapy. I think the American dream is not being rich, its finding a carrer that you truly love to do and be happy in life.
The American Dream can mean many things and each individual has there own understanding of the phrase but for me it means hope. I feel the dream is about hope because people come here to find a better life and try to start fresh and that dream gives them hope of something better. It seems that the hope is the real attraction that people chase after and if all goes well they can end up with a life that they will want to look back on when they are old and remember.
The American dream is different for every single person. And that's what makes it so special. it can be as simple as coming to America and just getting a nice paying job and live happy. Or going out and doing what ever it is that makes you happy. But those things aren't just given to you, you have to work to have the lifestyle you want to live.
The American Dream is not defined by materials, but by the opportunity for many to succeed and thrive in life. I think the most important aspect of the American Dream is that people have opportunities laid in front of then and can choose if they want to take advantage of these opportunities. In America we have public education and many welfare programs. The opportunities are out there, the question is whether or not you seize them.
When I think of the American Dream, I think of happiness, wealth, and family. I think that now-a-days people have a dream set out as being rich and famous and not having a worry. I still associate my dream with happiness. I do not aspire to grow up with a lot of kids, I just want to grow up to be happy, whether that does bring kids into play or not. I think in older times the American Dream was to have a family and a job that can feed your family. I believe if the world gets back to that, all they want is to be able to support, it would be a better place.
To me the American Dream is mainly based on money. I know it may sound bad and most people would rather be happy than wealty, but I plan on doing both. I have a certain lifestyle that I would love to live and that can only be achieved if I can make loads of doe. Another thing that compels me to make a lot of money and live out my American Dream is the amount of work it will take to get there. I plan to go through years of college education in order to make the amount of money I would like. My American Dream may be simple but with it comes a lot of work and sacrafice.
My American dream is to be happy. No matter where my path in life leads me, my goal is to make sure I am happy. I dream of having a job that not neccisarily makes a ton of money, but one that I enjoy and love. Material things do not matter, they come after happiness. If someone is not truly happy in life, then what have they truly accomplished? It seems nowadays we miss out on what the most important thing in life to have is, happiness. That is my American dream.
The american dream to me is happiness. It is up to the person to find that happiness. For some, happiness is gained through material possesions and greed for those possesions. Others enjoy the simpler things in life.
I think that the American Dream is something a person hopes for later in life. What I mean by that is it is sort of dream in which people picture their lives 10-15 years down the road and it is a Dream that will benefit that person and usually their dreams give them something to work hard for to achieve.
