My ideal American Dream doesn't have to do with owning a big house and a nice car. Instead, my ideal dream would be to have a stable career where I am financially able to live a life without struggle, a career in which my position is secure, and a career where I'm happy. I would want a family that is loving, and I don't want anyone in my family to have to struggle financially. Without having to worry about financial troubles, we would be free to enjoy life and do what we please.

My ideal American dream is to live my life under the rights guaranteed to me by the Constitution of the United States. Each one of us should feel incredibly lucky that we weren't born in a country that lacks the apparent stability ours does, or one that is held together by an oppressive, nepotistic government or religious theocracy. I take great pleasure in thinking for myself and would find it difficult to live in a place that enforces strict adherence to a dogma or set or codes, even if I don't accept them. The Crucible, in which we read last semester, is a good example of this. We have been given a rare gift, and I see so many people wasting it when most foreigners would die for a chance at what we have here. My American dream is to live my life to the fullest extent that the Constitution has allowed me to, since the majority of the world cannot.

The true meaning of the idealized "American Dream" can vary from person to person. For some, it may include a picture perfect suburbia house, with a decent car and a good looking family. To others, it may just be the pure joy of having freedoms in their lives. To me, the American Dream is all about the opportunity to do what you want in life. I'm not sure what my future holds, but I know my freedoms will guide me there. I have been lucky enough to go to amazing schools and grow up in an amazing community. I am so grateful for that because I know it is not the same in other parts of the world. So overall, the American dream isn't just given to you but rather you have to go get it and make it your own.

My ideal American dream would have to be a classic, but none the less appealing, American dream. I would have a big house with a nice car, a great family and all of the normal things that most people would want, but then I would want people. I would want neighbors that I found to be fun, I would want children that I could teach how the world worked, I would want students that I could mentor into better people. I would want all these things because if I had all of these things then I would leave a lasting mark on people that they would carry with them for the rest of their lives. After I had gotten all my money a good I would need something that fulfils me permanently. I would want all these things so that I wouldn’t be remembered for my money but instead my impact of people.

My ideal American dream is to have as much fun as I want and still be mature enough to take care of myself and my family. I would have a nice apartment in the city, with a really beautiful wife. I would drive a nice car and have an exciting, yet important job. I would have two little boys so when they grow up I could teach them how to play sports and do other fun things. Money will never be an issue so I can buy all the things that I need and only some of the things that I want. I would want to have a lot of friends so I could have one of those families that is social and entertaining. Overall I think the Ideal American dream is to have fun.

My ideal American dream is not to be rich nor to be famous, but rather it is to have a job I am happy at, and a family that I love. I do not believe that money equates to happiness, and therefore I do not intend to have a job solely for how it pays, but instead for the pleasure I may find within it. Beyond my job, my American dream involves owning my own home, perhaps in Illinois as I think it's a beautiful state, as well as getting married and having kids.

My ideal American Dream doesn't have much to do with money, owning a big house, etc. Though, I always used to think that when I was younger. Now, my ideal dream is to be happy. Once I finally get that one job that will stick for a long time, when I fall in love... When I can look at myself in the mirror and say "I am happy with myself", that's when I'll know I have reached my ideal American Dream.

The stereotypical ideal of the American Dream is to have a cookie cutter home with a white picket fence. This is not my personal American Dream, but mine comes from a similar ideal: the desire for financial security. My dream is to be financially stable enough to go on the adventures I want and go on different whims as I please.

My ideal American dream is to be able to have a job that you work hard at but also love, and to be able to travel/relax when you aren't working, or travel for work. I think everyone has a different opinion on what the ideal American dream should look like, but to me I think any ideal lifestyle should consists of working for something, whether it be yourself or someone else to either make money, or to become a better person. Along with working, I believe people deserve to be happy no matter what, and doing things that make you happy and that don't harm others are very important and should be done as often as possible. For me, traveling, especially by myself makes me so happy and I always feel so accomplished and independent when I am able to travel alone and get back safely, so I believe being able to leave the US whenever i an important ideal in my American dream, but it is also comforting to know that I am a US citizen that can come back at anytime from wherever I was visiting. What is most important to me is that I know I have the freedom to accomplish whatever I can, and I can go wherever I please.

The America dream is different for each person. For some people the American dream is living a life that allows them to do what they want and have a fair chance to to profit from it. For other people The American dream is about gaining materialistic things to become higher in social class. The American dream to me can come across as very selfish and is not a goal I strive for.

When I think of my American dream, I think of doing whatever I want. Everyone is always telling me what to do, what job/salary is needed to live a full life, and I'm tired of it. My dream is to write and direct movies, and maybe live in a motor home with a couple cats and a dog. I want to keep a close relationship with my family and friends because that is really important to me. Maybe I'll be a bum for a while, study astronomy, go to space, who really knows. However, I'm trying not to have an American dream because I do not want to plan my life. It will play out however it wants too and I accept that. So I am just going to go with it.

An American dream is often placed as this primitive guarantee of reward for your hard work, but I often never see that fulfilled. Its the idea that no matter how life is now, or how bad it has been, that you will be saved by this divine right to the simpleness of life. The rest of the world shares these dreams too. I find that so much of our basis on what we are deserving of is forged by a materialistic passion. The world is not as forgiving or vulnerable as we would like to think. Somethings are out of our control, and others must be accomplished and achieved on your own. The world is paid for and limited by time, and finding your american dream is something that you'll have to spend your own time doing. So whats my dream? I want to be happy, and what ever else comes my way, I will either except or change.

My american dream is not to be rich and famous with the newest sports car, and the biggest house on the street. My American Dream is to be happy. To be happy I want to also have a stable career that makes me happy and feel fulfilled. A job where I don’t sit in the same desk every single day doing the same thing every single day. As well as wanting to be happy personally, I would want all of America to be happy, and at peace with each other.

I believe that the American dream is the ability to accomplish anything that you put your mind to. Nothing can set you back other than your own abilities and imagination. My own American dream is to have a high paying engineering job and to have a nice house in the woods. I want to have unbound freedom to travel and explore the world.

My ideal American dream is to live under complete financial freedom and not have to work a normal career job. I wish to do what I love which is the stock market and hopefully earn a lot of money through this process. I would then like to start a family and travel around the world. I wish to have meaningful relationships with people that I enjoy. Even though I would like to be wealthy I would like to not flaunt this wealth. I enjoy skiing so I would use my wealth to pursue this love. The love of skiing. This would be my American dream, to do what I love and have meaningful connections with other people and to raise a family with someone I love.

My ideal American Dream is to have the American Dream. The American Dream is to live equally and freely. Living equally means that all American citizens are endowed the same rights, no matter their race, gender, or age. As young adults, we are looked down upon for not being "mature", yet not all of us are the same as others our age. Living freely is to be able to do what I want to do and what makes happy. I wish to live in a house with the white picket fence and a happy family, the American Dream.

In my opinion, the ideal American dream is to be able to do what you want. People come to America to have freedom and the ability to say what they want. This is the ideal American dream because it applies to everyone in this country. Everyone has different opinions about the ideal American dream. Without the freedom of America, no one can have an American Dream.

MY ideal American Dream is to own a business and have people working for me, because I don't want to work for other people. Part of my American dream is to love what I do, because if I love what I do I will never work a day in my life. To define the american dream one must keep an open mind to realize that the American Dream is different for everyone. My American Dream is too live life to the fullest and truly enjoy what I do for a living and have a loving family.

My ideal American Dream is something that is attainable by everyone. It does not necessarily have much to do with material items. But it has to do with working hard. America is a free country and people are free to do whatever they want within the law. The freedom to succeed is available to everyone. But to succeed you must live with conviction and hard work. My ideal American Dream is someone who has a dream and works as hard as they can for it and they achieve some sort of success.

My American dream is to be successful. Just the thought of success, drives me to invest in the skills most people tend to overlook. The key to success, in my opinion, is for someone to distinguish themselves in today's society. America was founded in opportunity, and I want to make the most of my opportunity. Which is why my motive for success is determined by how badly you want it. People who truly want to achieve something, find a way to succeed.

I don't have an "American Dream." I'm just trying to get through high school and into college, and I'll figure it out from there. I'm not looking to accomplish anything specific, I just want to focus on what I can. Whatever happens in the future will happen then, not now.

My ideal American Dream is to have a family that is very loving, but also to be able to do something that I love. I want to be able to have a stable career in the automotive industry and eventually own some pretty cool and unique cars. I want to be different than anyone else, and I would love to be able to show it through really unique cars that cannot be mistaken for anyone else's. This may seem like a weird dream to some, but I believe that individuality is among one of the most important things you can have, but I also have a deep passion for cars and want mine to be my own, not like any others.

My American dream doesn't really have to do with making a lot of money. I want to have a career where "I don't work a day in my life" as people would say. And to have a family that is close and each one of us has great relationship with each other, and hopefully when I retire I can travel around the world since that has been one of my dreams since I was young.

My american dream is to live With out the worry of not having money. I mean it would be really nice to be a millionaire but that is generally not that plausible. I truly think my american dream is just to live a happy life to have a job that i don't loathe too go to. That to be happily married and just be filled with joyous days is the main thing i crave.
