I think that the American dream has changed a lot since America first became country. When people first came here they were looking for a new start and now people just try to get through life here. There is some things about America that still inspire the American dream. Like how anyone can become president or anyone can become a CEO. That to me is what the American dream has turned into. Knowing that know matter where you come from you can be anything that you want to be.

The ideal American Dream has been interpreted many different ways over the years. I view the American Dream as achieving in the end what you desired at the beginning. If you wanted to live a long meaningful life then achieving that, is achieving you American Dream. In order to achieve my personal American Dream, I would like to live a low-stress, adventurous, and meaningful life. And if I complete then I have achieved my American Dream.

The American dream started out as freedom, and success if you work hard enough. This has changed throughout america's history, shifting more and more towards money. But the ideal American dream would be that of the past. More of a hard working environment, not a have to get all A's setup, since A's in certain schools are basically given out. The ideal American dream would encourage hard work, and reward people for how hard they work.

Over time I'd say peoples American dream has changed. Back then the American dream would be to have freedom and have a family. Now for some it still may be to have a family but many people want to be rich and have nice cars and to have to no worries in life. My American dream is to be successful and to be independent and not need my parents to support me all through my young adult life.

I think that the American ideal is to get rich quick and retire early and then to live in a mansion and own a nice car like an Adui or a cadiliac. But I think that if we want to live the dream of lavish lifestyles then then the average person needs to expect a massive amount work to achieve the dream. But we as Americans are trained to be lazy. So many of these dreams will always just be dreams.

My ideal American Dream is to have enough money to get me by and also to be happy and content. I also want to travel the world and learn about other cultures and see amazing places. I would rather have knowledge of the world and be happy instead of finding a job that makes a lot of money but makes me miserable.

To me the American dream is to constantly better your situation. Only in America are people able to take a situation they don't like and turn it into a situation where they can thrive and be successful. When I think of the ideal American dream I think of someone struggling but then through hard work and commitment finds their passion in life and becomes successful.

I believe that the American dream is set by your goals and who you want to be and how you want to live. Everybody has a different way to go about life and how they would like to make it their own. The American dream is not how it use to be and it will never be the same.

The American dream, in detail, means something different for everyone. However, there is an overall goal that everyone strives for. The goal is to have a life worth living. For some, this means having a successful job that pays well. For me, it's to be able to find happiness and meaning in everything I do; to see life as more than just a competition. The privileges we have just by living in America is what makes these goals attainable. This is why even though everyone gives it their own meaning, we all share the American dream.

I believe that the American Dream is different for everyone. It applies differently to fit everyone's dreams and hopes. So the american dream is what you want to happen in your life and to get there as soon as possible. I would say that most people have dreams in order to be happy. So if you are happy right now then you are in fact living the american dream. Living in the moment and enjoying the moment is the American dream for me. Happiness can be achieved sooner than just the distant future. It is attainable at any moment if you choose to actually be accept it. The american dream is available at any minute its up to you to take in the moment or wait. I highly suggest you take it.

Although I believe the ideal concept of the American Dream varies for everyone, my ideal dream all relates to freedom, and determination. To be more specific, I mean to have the freedom to do the things I want to do, and to say the things I decide need to be said. The freedom to get the type of education I deem necessary and applicable to my life, and the freedom to pursue the career of my choice. And freedom and determination go hand in hand, because though I may have the freedom to do all these things, it's the determination that's pushing me along. The freedom gives me the opportunity, but the determination is what makes me take it. The best thing about the American Dream though is that it's different for everyone. It's through that very diversity of beliefs and limitless possibilities that gives every single person the dream in the first place, and the ability to chase it.

Although money for a lot of people is the pinnacle of their American dream it's not for me. Don't get me wrong ever since I can remember I thought that money was the most important thing in life and if I had a lot of it when I grow up I'd be happy. I thought that money could buy you happiness but over the last couple of years my perspective on life and what's important has changed. My American dream is to have a job that I am passionate about and to have enough money to travel the world and meet new people. I've always been both interested and fascinated with the spectacular places around me. I wanna be able to visit the Amazon jungle, walk the great wall of China, and overall live an adventurous life. I want to meet new people and experience memorable moments with them. It's important to me to have a job I'm passionate about because I'd rather spend my life doing something I love then at a job that makes me a lot of money but is miserable.

My American dream has changed a lot since the one that I had in mind a couple of years ago. Back then I thought that money was everything and that as long as down the road and in my future I had money that I would be happy. But my new American dream is extremely different and doesn't revolve around money at all. My dream is to find a job that a truly love and enjoy doing no matter the pay. I would like to have enough money to get by and buy what I want . But at the same time having time to meet new people and build a strong relationship with someone. I would rather have time to meet people, visit places, and be content then have a job I don't enjoy and have a lot of money.

Over time, the American dream has changed from people wanting a family and a job to luxuries, having more, and being good at everything they do. My American Dream is to try my hardest in everything I do. To set my goals straight and go for it.

My american dream is living my life how i want to live it. Being happy and completing goals of yours, your dreams comes from your passion and what you enjoy spending time on. I love the outdoors and traveling to different places, I want to explore the gifts of the world and see things that not everyone gets to see.

The ideal life for everyone may differ, but they all stem from opportunity that is the American dream. America offers the resources and ability to achieve whatever you want, as long as you work hard towards your goals. This is my ideal American dream, knowing that whatever I crave in life I can achieve through the opportunity that is offered by America.

I believe the American dream is different for everyone. Most of these dreams revolve around freedom-freedom of speech, freedom of religion and freedom of choice. I think freedom is what America is most associated with and choosing to live here gives people hope in becoming whatever they dreamed to be.

My ideal American dream is justice for everyone. That sounds really cheesy, but one of the best things about America was that it was supposed to be based on the idea that “All men are created equal.” Our nation still isn’t perfect, or even close to it. However, we’re getting closer and closer to reaching our American Dream. A lot of people’s American dreams are different than mine-- maybe that they want to get rich or live the fast life, but for me, what I think America should be all about is justice and equality for everyone, and even though we haven’t reached it yet, we’re getting closer to our goal.

The American dream today has changed significantly, back when America first became a country people from all over the world would leave their past behind and come to America to start a family and enjoy the freedom our country had to offer. Today it has changed to a money hungry America, the dreams have shifted to ceo’s having fancy cars and huge mansions while the lower class have to work their butts off to get food on their table. I personally am living the American dream with a good job all that’s left is to start a family

The ideal american dream for most is to do well in school, go to college, get a good paying job, get married, and have a family. This is all fine but I personally don't believe that it is meant for everyone. Part of the American spirit and sense of freedom is being able to forge your own path and do what you choose to do but that is becoming harder than ever. So much pressure is put on younger generations to do well in school because it will set you up for the rest of your life but our current school system is not set up to accompany everyone. The people who the school system does not cater to are felt left out and useless and the american dream is taken away from these people. The sad thing is this group of people is slowly increasing and the American dream is being taken away from more people.

My american dream is to live for the moment, to never have to worry or struggle like I have in the past. School and work are such a small part of our lives. They mean nothing yet take up so much of the little time we have here. The remaining, short amount of time I have are spent with friends and family, but my american dream is to ultimately turn that around. My american dream is to also continue to spread the rave culture because everyone is family there and I want everyone in the world to experience it because if everyone followed the peace love unity and respect code the world would be a better place.

My American dream is to live happily, to love others and to stray from hate. To have a steady job and steady income as I grow older, to make enough money to put food on the table for my family and to never have to worry about struggling to make ends meet. I want to be proud of my accomplishments and to regret nothing, but learn from everything. I want to be able to share my wealth of knowledge I acquire throughout my life with my grand kids, and hopefully even great-grand kids. Most importantly though, I hope to be able to depend on myself when I am older. So my kids do not have to visit me in a nursery home.

My ideal American Dream would be to have a good life that I am happy in. I would love to have to work very little, and be able to just enjoy life. I would love to be able to travel. I wanna see some extravagant places in the world and not need to worry about running out of money, or struggling. I would be able to relax and not have to worry or stress. I would love to just be able to live life to the fullest.

For some people, the American Dream has stayed the same. A nice house, a car of two, and good job to support your family. I also think money plays a greater role in the American dream now.
My ideal American Dream is to be happy. I'd like to travel and see the world.
